A new CGA Radio!

That’s right, CGA Radio #110 is finally out after almost three weeks from recording date. I had some problems with my audio program that prevented me from putting it together. Sorry about that folks. CGA Radio # 111 is also ready and I will release that tomorrow so people using the RSS feeds will catch both.

R.I.P George Carlin

George Carlin, professional comedian (unlike those you run into at work all the time), died yesterday from heart failure. He first appeared on television on the Tonight Show as a dippy meterologist and would continue on to appear on that show over 130 times. Saturday Night Live even had him on as their first host.  A man that would always go past the line to make you realize that life can be really fucking stupid. But you would laugh and after the show was done, you may think a little differently about the world. Hopefully, those people out there that own part or all of his 26 albums and three books will spread it to generations that didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy his humor.

No Sleep + No Caffeine + Work = No Show

Sorry folks, but there more than likely won’t be a show this week due to a lack of sleep on my part. If you’ll excuse me, I think I’m going to pass out now.

CGA Radio #109 has been released!

Yes I finally got off my butt and edited episode 109 and it’s now ready for your listening pleasure! Episode 108 will be delayed further due to technical difficulties, but we’ll be back recording this week for number 110. Enjoy!

Status update…

I thought I’d give you all a little update on the status of CGA Radio #108 and #109. Yes, there are two shows that have been recorded now and are sitting on my hard drive. I have not gotten enough time to edit these and get them posted obviously, hence the lack of updates. Episode 108 was recorded using a DAW that was only semi-supported in Vista and makes it a royal pain to record and edit. It takes me twice the normal amount of time to do it overall and I have to babysit it the entire time to make sure nothing magically dissappears or changes without my input. We’ve finally resolved this problem for episode 109 and (hopefully) future recordings so there shouldn’t be anymore problems with that. There will be no recording this week (episode 110) but I hope to have both previous episodes available within the week.

CGA Radio #107!

Another episode of video game goodness is ready for your enjoyment! This is actually the show from the week of the 18th, but it took me a while to edit it. This week we deviate from our usual format and go through our top five games for replayability. It’s a little of the top of our heads, but we go though some classics that should be checked out. We recorded a show this week as well, but that won’t be up until after the weekend. Keep checking back for more updates!
